  Such a friendly and unique looking pub, right on the water. A great place for both locals and visitors.
  
  The lunch menu was varied and interesting. I had the perch and chips, which were good, however only got two pieces of perch (they were a good size).
  
  This was our first visit to Port Rowan and would definitely recommend The Boat House Restaurant to anyone passing through.

  This place has the worst service my boyfriend and I have ever experienced. The food is overpriced for what you get, and the decor is extremely dated. As locals, this is disappointing but there are other options in Port Rowan that will serve you efficiently,
  and with a smile for an overall better experience. Would never recommend this establishment to anyone.

  To its credit the view and location are pretty amazing, but that's about it. The food, service and even the decor was lacking. We went for breakfast, which is pretty hard to mess up and while it was fine, that's about it.
  The interior was dated and confusing. The waitress acted like we were little more than a nuisance to be endured and everything lacked foresight and care. The bacon was actually pretty good but everything else was flavourless and well - not great.
  The menu and pricing was confusing and the wait for food simply inexcusable. If I'm ever in the area again I would certainly skip this place. Even as eager as I was for a hot greasy breakfast this place failed to satisfy - which  was extremely difficult feat to achieve.

  The kids menu is sooo confusing to understand.
  
  1. Right under the title it says they include fries or garden salad and a soft drink. However as per server it is limited to the burgers only.
  
  2. Spaghetti and meatballs $7.75 (kids menu) but it does not include meatballs which is $1.50 extra.
  
  3. Then the milk..... it's $1.50 but been told it's an add on/replacement to the soft drink because it costs more.
  
  Either the server didn't know what's she's doing or something's wrong with the kids menu/communications of it.

  Food was good, but it took over 20 minutes for the servers to even acknowledge us! Not much for vegetarian options but I had the sweet potato fries and they hit the spot.  Not many tables though.
